 Urban Action Academy is a small, personalized high school focused on college readiness and community activism. At UAA, classes are project-based and interdisciplinary, and teachers in all subject areas use sites in New York to complement instruction. Students will also participate in an advisory program that aids their growth as learners and as citizens. By the time that they graduate, students at UAA will be prepared not only for college coursework, but also productive lives in New York City and the world. |
