Over the last three years we have worked very hard to ensure that our students gain a greater understanding of how to be both

college and career ready. We strongly believe that our students need to learn professional skills on how to interview well for jobs

and colleges. We are reinstituting a mandatory uniform policy for the 2011-2012 school academic year. We are certain that the

uniform policy will prove to be successful in both creating a positive school tone and in maintaining a safe and secure environment.

What is most important is that our students will gain a greater understanding of how critical it is to dress appropriately and be ready

for the professional world. Our School Uniform Policy follows:

 1. Shirts - Either the Light Blue or Black Golf Shirts with the school logo.

 2. Pants – Khaki

 3. Footwear – Sneakers or shoes may be worn, no sandals. Socks must be worn.

 2. Pants - Khaki including Capris. Leggings are not permitted.

 3. Skirts – Khaki, knee length or longer. Miniskirts are not permitted.

 4. Footwear – Sneakers or shoes may be worn, no sandals. Socks must be worn.

In the spring, a notice will be sent out to permit students to wear Khaki shorts (not bike shorts) instead of long pants. The shorts

must be knee length or longer. This policy will be in effect only at the end of the school year. If the knee length rule is not followed,

parents will be called to bring in the proper uniform clothing. The rules for shirts will remain in effect all year long.
