At Urban Action Academy, we value family, community and service as the pillars of our school. I believe in making school work for all of our students by providing an array of thought provoking, action packed and fun filled Elective and AP course offerings that pique student interest. Our focus for the 2023-2024 School year is to continue to improve our efforts by prioritizing and personalizing student exposure to diverse experiences which extend learning beyond the classroom while maintaining our global and community perspective. We aspire to create an autonomous learning environment to equip our students for college and to compete in today’s global market. This year we are taking a deep dive into incorporating more culturally relevant instructional approaches to even out contextual view points. We value parent voice and parent involvement to support our young people as they transition throughout the school year. I am excited about the upcoming year and looking forward to contributing to the legacy of Urban Action Academy.
